Questions advertisers ask
Is a listing free?+
Yes. Every category — circles, teachers, schools, shops, retreats, facilitators — can be listed free, with no card required. Paid options only add placement and profile features on top of a free listing.
What's a recurring charge and what's one-time?+
Pro plans and sponsored city slots are subscriptions billed monthly or annually until you cancel. Featured boosts, sitewide banners and newsletter mentions are one-time purchases for a fixed window (for example 30 days) and do not auto-renew.
Where exactly does each placement appear?+
A featured boost pins your listing to the top of its category page and its city page with a Featured badge. A sponsored city slot puts one advertiser at the top of a single city page for one category. A sitewide banner runs in the banner strip pinned to the bottom of the screen, on every page of the site. A newsletter mention is placed in the next community newsletter; we don't publish on a fixed schedule, so we agree the send date with you before it runs.
Who makes the creative?+
You supply the image and the link for banners, and the text for newsletter mentions. We review every creative before it goes live and will ask for a change if it doesn't fit the site — nothing runs unreviewed.
Can I cancel?+
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. One-time placements run out their window and simply stop.
How do I know it's working?+
Your dashboard shows views and clicks on your listing, plus any inquiries sent through the lead form. We report what we can measure on our own site; we can't see what happens after someone clicks through to you.
Do you guarantee leads, bookings or a Google ranking?+
No. We sell placement on this site, not outcomes. Anyone guaranteeing rankings or a number of leads is guessing.
