Boulder City, Nevada Drumming at Bootleg Canyon Park Sundays at 6pm (sunset) Bring a drum & something to sit on. There's a few extra hand percussion instruments to share. Directions: Coming from Las Vegas or Henderson - Take 95 south into Boulder City. (95 becomes 93. Stay on 93 and DO NOT take 95 into Searchlight). About 2.5 miles past Railroad Pass Hotel is Veterans Memorial Drive - Make a left. Follow until Yucca Street, make a left. Take Yucca Street all the way to the very very top parking lot. If you are coming from Boulder City or Arizona, take 93 north to Yucca Street and turn right. Follow Yucca all the way to the very very top parking lot. There's a large plateau next to the parking area (overlooking the northside of the valley). We'll be there. Very easy walk from parking lot but wear comfortable shoes. Its a beautiful and scenic place to drum and watch sometimes epic sunsets. Far from houses or businesses so we can drum w/o bothering anyone. We'll be doing this every Sunday until the weather gets too hot. Maybe we'll be lucky to find an indoor spot after that. All levels welcome. Just be courteous. No smoking or alcohol.
